Typographic Visualization
The project is divided into three parts.
1. Word Expression, 2.Storyboard, 3.Motion
All three parts altogether try to express the deeper feeling and literal meanings of the words.
Word: Ghost
The letterforms are designed in a way to depict a feeling of fear.
Word: Ghost
The spaces between the letterform create a door-like visual which create fear and horror.
Word: Trapped
The letter A here is shown with literal meaning of being trapped between the adjacent letters.
Word: Trapped
The negative spaces of the letterforms are reduced creating a tight, trapped feeling.
Word: Disorganized
The position of the letterforms is distorted to show disorganization.
Word: Disorganized
Rotation, Reflection and changing the position of letterforms create a feeling of disorganization.
Word: Blend
This process of depicting a letterforms process to reveal it's meaning is in the style of storyboard.
The word 'blend' means to merge into one another. Here, letterforms go through the same process of merging.
Word: Mood swings
This the the third part of the project (motion). The word mood swings means a high and low of emotions.
Hence, the letterforms are shown changing their positions in a fun manner.
